Welcome to my blog!My name is Dr. Dael Sassoon, and I am delighted to welcome you to my personal blog. I am a palaeoecologist, writer and photographer, and and I love to share my travel experiences through the power of words and visual media. Each one of my travels has been memorable and has shaped who I am, teaching me valuable lessons in life and about our beautiful planet. Through my research, I try to bridge the gap between past and present ecosystems by looking at fossil pollen preserved in sedimentary records and reconstructing vegetation dynamics. With my blog, I hope I’ll be able to indulge your wanderlust spirits and environmentally inclined minds with thoughts drawn from my experiences, memories and academic education.
